How we research local listings
Know which information comes from a listing, which details we have checked, and what still needs confirmation.
Who puts this guide together?
Setrush compiles this independent directory. We have not personally visited or reviewed the listed businesses. Inclusion, photographs and Google ratings are not our endorsement or proof of service quality.
Two kinds of information
Addresses, phone numbers, weekly hours and Google ratings are imported from the linked public business listings. Their collection date appears on the business page. Separately researched notes link to the business’s own website and show the date those particular details were checked. Checking a menu does not verify every other field.
How we add practical details
We look for information that changes a visit: menu examples, published prices, seating rules, parking restrictions and dietary options. Notes are paraphrased from identified sources. Missing information stays unconfirmed; a missing parking policy does not mean free parking, and a dietary label is not an allergy-safety guarantee. We flag conflicting policies instead of selecting a convenient answer.
How the tools work
The time checker calculates from recorded weekly hours in the business’s local time zone. It does not check live tables, holiday exceptions or last seating. Nearby comparisons use straight-line distances, not driving routes. Price examples are not complete meal quotes. The Baroo subtotal uses its sourced menu and pairing prices and excludes tax, gratuity and other charges.
What automation does
Automation imports records, formats pages and calculates opening-hour and distance comparisons. Some menu links and service notes are extracted from a source-listed website’s structured data only after the business name and street address match. These notes are labelled with an automated source-check date; this is not a manual review or proof that the website’s information is current. Unmatched branches, inaccessible sources and missing details are not treated as verified facts. Our shared page layout is not evidence of an individual visit. Business-specific researched notes carry their own sources; we do not create invented reviews, amenities or staff credentials.
Visit-length checks and calendar plans
The time-to-allow control is your planning choice, not an estimated dining time unless a linked business source supplies one. We compare the whole stop with continuous recorded opening windows, including split services and overnight hours. A next matching window is based on the weekly record, not holiday exceptions, last seating or availability. Nearby results must cover the same duration; straight-line distance is not travel time. Calendar downloads are tentative personal plans and do not make a booking.
Corrections and updates
Use the correction link on a listing and include the business address, the field that needs changing, and a supporting official URL where possible. Requests are stored privately for review; submitting a request does not automatically change a page or verify ownership. We do not promise a fixed response time or claim continuous real-time monitoring.
Listings with limited information
We keep incomplete records available to visitors while reviewing them. Missing contact or schedule information is not filled in by guessing. We review possible duplicates by location and identity: branches sharing a central phone number are not automatically merged.
